ALPHA
WHAT IS ALPHA?
The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It’s relaxed, low key, friendly and fun. It’s a place where people can come and ask questions, delve into issues and look for answers together. ‘ALPHA’ Courses are for those who want to find out more about the Christian faith.WHAT’S INVOLVED? The Alpha course consists of a series of talks (on DVD) looking at topics such as ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and How do I pray?’ After each talk we have a discussion on what we have heard and what issues are raised.
ALPHA, using videos and general discussion, looks at a variety of subjects including:-
- Those wanting to investigate Christianity
- New Christians
- Newcomers to the Church
- Those who want to brush up on the basics
WHAT WILL IT COST? There is no charge for the Alpha course. The evening starts with a light meal. The main course
is paid for by the church – although any donations towards the cost will be very welcome. Drinks and desserts (if required) are paid for by the individual.
